| Description |
Hospice Quinte is actively seeking those interested in volunteering for the organization as a greeter The Greeter will be stationed at the reception desk, with focus being on the main entrance, as you will be greeting visitors when they enter the building. The role of the Greeter will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: •Greet guests upon entering the building •Ensure they sign-in, and advise them of the requirement to sign out when they leave •Have them change their cloth masks over to one of the medical masks we supply •Accept courier deliveries, and leave them on the back counter for their recipients to collect •When requested provide basic tour of the building – have a knowledge of the Stan Klemencic Care Centre, and be able to answer questions •Assist with setting up and clean up for meetings/training if requested •Miscellaneous administrative tasks, if requested (stuffing envelopes, putting together info packages, etc.) Shifts are 3.5 hours long only 9:30-01:00 pm 01:00-4:30 pm |
| Training Details | Hospice Quinte will provide training on providing hospice tours to visitors and general office duties. |
| Working Conditions | Greeter volunteers work inside the Hospice Quinte Stan Klemencic Care Centre. |

Shifts are 3.5 hours long only. Mornings from 9:30-01:00 pm and afternoons 01:00-4:30 pm You can sign up for the shifts that work for you. |
