Providing a structured positive learning environment for children in the Quinte area Join Our Board of Directors We are seeking 3 volunteers to join our Board of Directors Nova Children’s Centre is a non-profit daycare that has been providing quality daycare services to children in the Quinte region for over 30 years. Nova's specialized staff are dedicated to assisting children in achieving their highest potential by focusing on their emotional, physical, social and academic levels of development. Interested in giving back to your community? And at the same time acquire exceptional work experience! Possible skills or expertise of volunteer board members include but are not limited to: - Experience with board or community organizations - Experience in a leadership role - A dedication to children and their development - Ability to work in a team environment - Experience with fundraising/applying for grants - Accounting/budgeting skills The Board of Directors of Nova Children’s Centre meets one evening a month.
