Description |
As a volunteer at Reaching for Rainbows you will spend a couple of hours engaged in rewarding and interesting activities with the girls – playing, reading, singing, preparing and enjoying snacks, listening, playing games and so much more. The afternoon will fly by. Girls grow and thrive as they play, learn and build resiliency and self-confidence. |
Training Details |
Prior to starting you will need a Police/Vulnerable Person Check. The program director/assistant program director or chair of the board will provide you with an orientation, and review our policy and procedures |
Working Conditions | Playroom setting & some outdoor time weather permitting. |
Duration | 7 - 12 months |
Timing | Weekday - Daytime |
Time Detail |
2:00pm -5:00pm 1 day a week from Monday to Thursday. For student volunteers after school to 5:00pm |
