Description |
We require volunteers to help mentor, supervise and engage with youth and teens ages 12-18. The ROC Youth Centre offers programs and drop-in activities Monday through Friday during after-school hours from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Additionally, special opportunities and skill development opportunities are also offered. We are looking to find volunteers over 18yrs of age to help facilitate a safe centre where teens can hang out with their friends and participate in programs. Volunteers with a particular skill set are welcome to bring new ideas for programming to the director. It is very important that prospective volunteers bring patience, understanding, energy and enthusiasm with them when interacting with youth and teens. If you are interested in working with youth and teens, you must apply and have a completed police check with vulnerable sector screening completed. |
