Description |
We are looking for volunteers to help us organize donated items to ensure supplies are always available for clients. We also want to create an inviting and comforting environment for clients to select items. The transitions our service users are making can be difficult. Our goal is always to provide the safest and most emotionally supportive environments possible. This project will involve working with a group to organize current donations, and assessing which items we are either lacking or have an excess of. |
Training Details | Training will be provided by our Training and Public Engagement Coordinator prior to starting, and support will be ongoing during the project. |
Working Conditions |
We have two locations in Picton with donated items. Physically activity like lifting and moving small items will be involved. While volunteers will not be working directly with clients in this role the ability to maintain confidentiality while working in our space is important. |
