The Community Development Council of Quinte is looking for 10 community enthusiasts to lead the Belleville Abundance Project in the role of “Abundance Ambassador”. Abundance Ambassador. CDC-Quinte is looking for community enthusiasts to lead the Belleville Abundance Project in the role of “Abundance Ambassador.” The Belleville Abundance Project is a multi-year community building project that will leverage the many gifts and assets of Belleville's businesses, organizations, and residents to improve access to healthy and local food. What is an Abundance Ambassador? An Abundance Ambassador will act as a community leader on this project - liaising with businesses, organizations, and residents, to develop relationships and share information. This is a volunteer role that utilizes strong communication skills. An Abundance Ambassador can be a seasoned community leader or a new community enthusiast. You must be passionate about people and your community, and hopefully about some aspect of food (growing, cooking, distributing/access, etc.). You must be reliable and have 2-3 hours that you can commit to volunteering on a weekly basis. Your role is to meet one-on-one with residents and business/organization representatives to share and collect information and to act as an ambassador at community events. |
