| Description | In-Home volunteers support those dealing with a life limiting diagnosis. Hospice Prince Edward in-home volunteers provide emotional and practical support to those dealing with their life threatening illness. Our volunteer also provides relief to the caregiver. Our services are for adults within Prince Edward County. Providing quality of life, dignity in death and grief bereavement support for those living with or affected by a life-limiting illness. |
| Training Details | Volunteers are screened and provided 23-hour online training provided by Hospice Palliative Care Ontario. |
| Working Conditions | In-Home volunteers support those dealing with life limiting illnesses in their home: personal residence, or retirement home. |
