As changemakers, Board members help inform and grow our capacity to think and act inclusively, helping build solutions to pressing social issues in our region United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is looking for energetic, passionate people to: Influence policy decisions impacting the organization and the sector Build community networks Act as change catalysts in and for the community Serve as ambassadors for United Way HPE Govern our organization strategically Apply critical thinking skills in all decision making and planning We welcome applications from everyone interested who have diverse skills and perspectives to offer; we are especially seeking people with skills in: Finance, Human Resources, Legal and/or Governance Our service region is vast; in 2024-25, we're supporting 46 agencies and 55 programs across Hastings County and Prince Edward County. And we welcome contributions of people from all the unique communities across our region. To facilitate the engagement of individuals from different areas, we offer hybrid meeting options, online or in-person. |
