Description |
The Board member will also serve as Treasurer starting in December 2024 or sooner if possible. A property management company is responsible for building maintenance, tenant relations and day-to-day financial matters and bookkeeping. This is done under the general direction of the Board which meets monthly for an hour and has overall responsibility for QINPHC. The Treasurer helps ensure that the property manager receives revenues and disburses funds as directed by the Board, and full and accurate accounts are kept. This requires about an hour monthly and includes reviewing monthly financial statements, signing cheques and documents as needed, reviewing capital and operating budgets and an annual meeting with the Auditor. Ideally the Treasurer would be a County resident and have a background in finance, accounting, bookkeeping and/or business. |
