Impact Statement Dedicated volunteers are at the core of JA’s impact on students across Canada.

JA volunteers are generous, talented and inspiring. They come from a variety of business areas and share one common goal:

educating students and inspiring them to achieve their highest potential.

Our volunteers include individuals/professionals who sign up through their organizations’ JA volunteer programs. Volunteers generously donate their time to help prepare and inspire Canadian youth as they prepare for their future.

Our dedicated volunteers facilitate programs to students in grade 3-12 to teach them about financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Topics include learning to create a budget, developing long-term goals, understanding what it takes to run a successful business and learning about different types of investments and methods of payments. JA provides training, support and program materials to ensure volunteers have a fun and meaningful experience.
Description We are looking for volunteers to help deliver day programs to students in local schools. Day programs include Success Skills, Personal Finance, and Work Readiness for grades 7 to 12. Junior Achievement Northern and Eastern Ontario (JA-NEO) provides all of the information and material required for each day program. Volunteers would deliver these programs to students, in classrooms in conjunction with teachers. For more information please contact me at swhite@ja-neo.org.
Training Details All material is provided for volunteers. A police check is required.
